How UltraSlim^® Removes Fat

The patented UltraSlim^® mechanism of action delivers a unique, high-powered light, which is absorbed by the chromophores of the mitochondria (cytochrome c oxidase), causing the adipocyte to respond with lipolysis, as if it was a time of famine. The fat cell's membrane is disrupted, resulting in temporary pores which allow triglycerides to be released from the cell as non-esterified fatty acids (NEFAs) and glycerol, while also secreting Leptin, Adiponectin/Acrp30, and Interluken-6. The volume of the adipocyte is reduced accordingly.

UltraSlim^® is able to achieve reduction of subcutaneous and visceral fat while increasing collagen and elastin production in the skin cells. How UltraSlim Improves Skin

UltraSlim^® increases collagen and elastin in the skin by stimulating the mitochondria within skin cells with a specific type and wavelength of light.

Mitochondrial activation occurs when the CCO chromophores are exposed to the correct dosage in Luminous Flux Minutes of UltraSlim's specific 635 +/- 2nm light emissions.
